ICE Meeting Report

A meeting has been called for Thursday, March 18 to be held at West Valley Hall, 2700 West 3650 South, starting at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss action and inaction at the legislature on illegal immigration.

Among those with special invitations are legislators who have been involved in the illegal immigration issue as well as legislators from the immediate area that includes Taylorsville, Kearns, Magna, and West Valley. Mayors and city council people from Taylorsville and West Valley also are invited. We hope to also discuss what is being done at the city level on the issue.

It is anticipated that representatives from Congressman Jason Chaffetz' office will also be in attendance to report on federal activities on immigration. Jason always seems to keep well involved in this issue.

To any of you who are at the legislature, please mention this to any legislator you would like to attend.
