TO ALL THOSE PATRIOTS

I recently received and forwarded an email describing the current administration’s plans for disarming those in America who choose to own weapons. Something I think we all forget in these trying times are that there are more of us than them. And that we the people still can change the things they have put into law. We need to focus on awareness and voting these individuals out. And speaking up so that they don't think they have us confused and dazed and that they have won. I know I can think of lots of places to hide a gun if I had one and needed to hide it. We are not powerless and the British thought we would lay down and take it too. We all need to focus on what America and freedom are all about and it's not iPods for our kids and going to the movies. our founders fought for individual freedom more than the pursuit of happiness. The farmers who made up the original national guard were protecting their families lives not their stuff. Maybe all of this will end up saving the soul of the American people. I like to think so. Maybe just maybe this Is the wakeup call for all of us. The rest of the world has dubbed us spoiled and greedy, maybe they have been right and now we are being shown whats really precious. Maybe it will show them too how generous America really was in her grand fortune. As we can no longer help them in order to put our own troubles right again. We have been sold a bill of goods in the last few generations, and that is that to have the American dream is to have stuff. That's not it. Not by a long shot. read about our founding fathers and what they set out to do. it was to stand out among other nations. To set an example for the world that people should be good to one another and allow each other to live the way they want in relation to being oppressed and down trodden not necessarily to just do whatever the heck they want. In no other country do people have the freedoms we have. Start taking a look. Even our friend and alia countries in Europe do not have near the freedoms we do. Remember we separated ourselves from them with good reason. To this day people flood to get into this country. Think about it, WHY. Please step back and take a look. America is the greatest nation in the world she is worth fighting for. Be proud to be an American. God bless us all.
